Kári D. Hill
Mrs. D. Hill, the Proud Principal of Innovation Hall (East A), joined the Chester Community Charter School family in August 2018. As the Instructional Leader of this learning and discovery community of Grades Kindergarten and 1 scholars, Mrs. Hill is cultivating a school environment where all children ought to dream, discover, explore and use their problem solving and critical thinking skills in all content areas.
With over 25 years as an educator in the School District of Philadelphia and surrounding area districts, including many years as a Classroom Teacher, Instructional Math Coach and New Teacher Coach, and an Elementary School Principal, Mrs. Hill brings experienced leadership and expertise to the Chester area. Prior to her career in Philadelphia schools, she served as an administrator at Berkeley College in New York City and Lincoln Technical Institute.
To date, Mrs. Hill earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Clarion University, a Master of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Kutztown University, a second Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from Gwynedd-Mercy College, and is currently finishing her doctoral work in the Doctor of Education program in Educational Leadership at Arcadia University. Additionally, she possesses her Pennsylvania Superintendent’s Letter of Eligibility certificate. Proudly, Mrs. Hill is an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Air Force Reserve.
