Nancy Bratton is the Principal of Courtesy Hall on CCCS’s East Campus.  In this position, Ms. Bratton supervises, monitors and evaluates a teaching staff of nearly thirty professionals.  She also analyzes formative and summative student data, oversees professional development, and monitors the implementation of school initiatives.  Ms. Bratton serves on CCCS’s Teacher Retention Committee.

Ms. Bratton has more than forty years of experience as a teacher and administrator. Prior to joining CCCS in 2015, Ms. Bratton spent eleven years as an Executive Director in the School District of Philadelphia.  Prior to that position, Ms. Bratton spent thirty years as a teacher and principal in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Ms. Bratton holds two Masters Degrees from North Carolina A&T University: one in Administration and Supervision and one in Education.  She earned her Bachelor of Education from Winston-Salem State University.  She has been certified in Pennsylvania as a K-12 Principal and in North Carolina for various positions.
